SCAN:Look/See_website
The design of my thesis website is an example of how resolution would look when used as a navigation device. The layout is a horizontal scroll and references a desktop scanner where different resolution values allow the user various views of the project. For example, if the user selects the hotspot
(red bar) at 5-dpi, a window with very general information opens. With higher values of resolution, the amount of information displayed increases.
5-dpi: general information
72-dpi: overall view/summary text
300-dpi: full-scale spread/entire concept
1200-dpi: associative images/text
